Job Title: Solar Engineer/Installer
Reports to: Technical Coordinator, Project
Job Summary
The Solar installer/technician, is responsible for the assembling and installation of solar PV racking systems, mount solar panels, inverter and energy storage system.
Main Responsibilities
The role is varied in its nature and will include working on a range of PV projects. Your responsibility will include:
- Responsible for the installation of photovoltaic systems, inverters and energy storage system
- Fastening aluminum racking systems to support the solar modules.
- Handling and fastening of solar modules
- Maintain a well-organized and safe work environment.
- Attention to detail when completing tasks.
- Assist with setup and tear down of job sites.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety procedures & policies.
- Participate in and coordinate a clean job site.
- Other ad hoc activities as and when required
Desired Qualifications
- Required: Ability to work at Heights
- Required: Ability to travel across the country.
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50lbs and over on a frequent and repetitive basis.
- Previous experience and knowledge of solar PV, inverter systems and energy storage are considered
an asset.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function seamlessly in a team and independently
- Work comfortably on construction sites in various weather conditions and environments.

Job title: Technical Service Engineer
Location: Lagos
Reports to: Manager, Projects and Technical
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance, and repairs of various solar system equipment while providing support towards ensuring that the team runs in its optimum capacity and achieves its goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Carries out the troubleshooting, diagnostic & repairs of solar system equipment (inverter system, solar charge controller, Solar panel, energy storage); while being accurate and working within the agreed timelines; in line with statutory requirements.
- Liaises with clients to develop, negotiate and schedule project proposals.
- Provide guidance, direction, and effective solution to clients and team members.
- Reviews projects to meet company & Client requirements within budget.
- Manages data and analysis for equipment performance and operations.
- Carry out competitive information gathering and analysis and perform SWOT analysis of relevant Products.
- Works with Business Development team to develop on-time proposals with the greatest value to both the customer and the company
- Preparation of engineering quotations.
- Ensures that equipment is tested before delivering to Clients where possible without violating any of the company’s’ quality standards.
- Ensures engineering documents are controlled through the company’s record management system.
- Any other duty of similar responsibility assigned
Who we are looking for:
- Sc/HND in Electrical Electronics Engineering, Physics, or any other related engineering courses.
- A minimum of 3 years ‘experience working in a similar industry with not less than 2 years as a Field Engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of a vast number of Solar system equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to communicate with diverse range of people.
- Professionalism, integrity, and commitment to working within the organization’s core values.
