Job Summary
The Technical Sales Support is responsible for driving sales growth and securing new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector. This role involves identifying and engaging potential clients, managing end-to-end sales processes for solar and renewable energy projects, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver customised energy solutions that meet client needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical insight, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to close project-based sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the renewable energy market (solar, hybrid systems, energy storage, etc.)
- Build and maintain relationships with installers, contractors, consultants, commercial and industrial clients.
- Develop proposals and quotations based on client needs and project specifications.
- Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to promote renewable energy solutions.
- Understand customer energy requirements and recommend appropriate solar/inverter/energy storage solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design project solutions and prepare technical and financial offers.
- Prepare and submit sales bids, negotiate contracts, and follow up on project approvals and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Prepare periodic sales performance reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports for management.
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in project sales, preferably in the renewable energy or power solutions sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in writing proposal and making presentation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple customers
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
