GENNEX SOLAR HYBRID INVERTER SETTINGS/INSTALLATION GUIDE

Our inverters are programmable with adjustable settings to suit each client demands. To adjust settings:

  • Press and hold the “ENTER BUTTON” for 3 seconds to switch the inverter  to settings mode
  • Press the DOWN button to select the program number you which to adjust; they are numbered from 1-31
  • At each program number, press the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to see the various setting option for that program number.
  • Press the “ENTER” button to select the setting program as recommended below.
  • Press the “ESC” button to exit.

OUR RECOMMENDATION/PRECAUTION

  • Kindly ensure to install the two capacitors giving to you with the purchased inverter. Connect 1.5uF capacitor to neutral and live of the AC input and 6uF to neutral and live of the AC output as a precautionary measure against voltage spikes from the input and the output source.
  • We strongly advise and recommend an AC circuit breaker at the AC input power source and at the AC output source for this installation purpose. The breakers rating for each inverter capacity is stated below
  • Circuit Breaker ratings
  • 10kva solar hybrid inverter  : input AC breaker : 63A, output AC breaker : 20A max (range from 6A – 20A)
  • 5kva solar hybrid inverter : input AC breaker : 32A, output AC breaker : 10A max (range from 6A – 10A)
  • 3kva solar hybrid inverter  : input AC breaker : 32A, output AC breaker :6A max
  • 2kva solar hybrid inverter   : input AC breaker : 32A, output AC breaker : 6A max
  • Kindly note that we do not recommend an automatic voltage stabilizer at the AC output of Gennex solar hybrid  inverter especially with low capacity inverter i.e 1kVa, 2kVa, 3 kVA.
  • The neutral of the AC input and the AC output must be looped together to achieve a common neutral at the point of connection.

 

 

PLEASE NOTE

  • Once the inverter system is turned on, it is mandatory to change the charging current (PROGRAM 2 AND 11) as stated above to suit the specifications of the battery in use.
